If there’s one thing you should know about me, you should know that my mom (Momma Sue) and I are super close. We absolutely love having mother-daughter days where we spend time together exploring a cute town and getting our foodie on.
There’s been a lot of changes going on in my life over the past month or two. I recently moved from Chicago back to Connecticut, started a new job, and moved into my own apartment, an hour away from my family.Also, as of yesterday, I turned 24.
Over this last year, I’ve learned to appreciate Connecticut more, and dare I say, even miss it a bit. If you told me I’d say that a year ago, I’d say you were crazy. Being in Connecticut is just so different from Chicago.
Can you believe it’s already May?! This year is flying by. I’m excited the weather is finally starting to turn around. After two weeks of almost constant gloomy weather, I was so ready for a nice weekend day to come about.
As I’ve mentioned before, one of my favorite things I’ve ever done was backpack through Europe. I’ve learned a lot about myself and definitely had the experience of a lifetime. What I probably enjoyed the most was getting to experience so many cultures through food.
